Find the press statement released by the organizers below: The 9th edition of urban music and hip culture awards, The Headies, will now hold on Sunday, December 14, 2014 as revealed by its organisers today. Said to be Nigeria’s most consistent and most credible honours platform, The Headies, was initially scheduled to hold on October 25, 2014. Executive Producer, Ayo Animashaun says the event is making a return to the Eko Convention Centre this year by popular demand. ‘It’s another opportunity to give Nigerians a spectacular show, and we’re working round the clock to do what we’re best known for, ’ he said. There are twenty-one categories this year, with Phyno and KCEE leading the nominees’ list with five nominations each.
